80 pesos
Japanese find it difficult to pronounce “L” and “R”.
I have to keep doing drills until I get it right.
When I master the drills I can move onto a higher level.
I walked quickly to Shang-rila Mall before I went to a drinking session.
Then along the road, an elementary school-aged girl came and asked me for money.
She said somethihng to me, but when I saw her, her clothes were decent enough.
so I didn’t give her money. This situation has happened to me before,
so I continued brisk walking to shang-rika.
As I walked along, I wondered about what she said.
I worried if maby she had a real problem, but I kept walking.
“Maybe I should go back?” I was thinking. But I don’t havetime.
I decide “I’ll finish my shopping quickly then when I go back, if she is still there, I’ll give her money”
But after that, I watched Jazzlive, and I didn’t see her on the road anymore.

Share Happiness
I created Share Happiness, but I didn’t share happiness to that girl.
I thought about how it’s been a long time since I’ve felt like this.
Wait! I thought. I shouldn’t scold myself. What is the problem?
And then I thought, it all happened suddenly, I wasn’t prepared.
So I understood, and I thought about the meaning of Share Happiness.
After 6 days, I went to Shang-rila again, and as I walked, I remembered that girl.
I hoped I would see her again so I can give her money this time. Unfortunately, she wasn’t there.
When I was walking in Shang-rila, suddenlly, a person in dirty clothes with suspicious behavior talked to me.
“Give me money for the bus” he said. This time I immediately understood what was happning.
Normally, I don’t give money to this type of person. I have doubts about giving money indiscriminately,
and I think about how it will be used if I give it. I thought about the fate of this money.
and what will become of it. I think only giving money has no meaning. But
I think this might be a drill from God, Because the last time I wasn’t able to react,
this is the second chance to do so.
I thought of this momentarily, when I saw him, because beggars are not usually allowed inside these places.
Just when I was thinking about the girl, he came to me.
Because this a test from God, whether or not I accept the man’s story is not important.
What matters is that I respond to the situation.
Since this situation has already happened to me, I was prepared to give him the 80 pesos this time.
After this I felt the warm rush of inner peace. Maybe passed the drill.

「Share Hppiness」
We wait for chances to help others. But helping others should no be froced.
If a chance presents itself, we should take it with pleasure.
Even small acts can merit great happiness in return.
This drill taught me. It was a good test.
Thanks God. I’ll do my best.
