３月３日 Day ４ in the Philippines
今夜は今週で授業が終った茜ちゃんのお別れ会。
It was Akane's farewell party. She had just finished her class.
会場はマニラで一番オシャレと言われているマカティーのグリーンベルト。
We went to Greenbelt Mall in Makati City, a popular shopping center and dine-in place.
今日の飲み会は先生も参加。気づくとテーブルはサンミーゲルライトが埋め尽くして
There were some of our teachers, and the table was crowded with bottles of San Miguel beer.
気づくとクラブのＶｉｐルームでみんなで豪遊してました。 笑
One minute, we were just drinking in a restaurant,but the next time
I opened my eyes, we were already in a VIP lounge of Palladium Superclub.
さて、話は少し時間を巻き戻しましょう。
Anyway, going back before that.
飲み会の待ち合わせの時間まで近くのシャングリアモールへ買い物に行った時
Before going to the party, I dropped by Shangrila Mall to shop.
運良く感じの良さそうなＪａｚｚｌｉｖｅが今、まさに始まろうとしていたところだった。
Luckily, when I got there, a jazz concert had just started.
さらに運良く、最前列のセンターの席が空いていたので座ってみる事にした。
In addition that, I even got to sit in front of the stage
「A toast to woman and jazz 」
トースト？？女とジャズを焦がすという意味か。。フムフム。なかなか渋いね。
Seeing the word TOAST, I imagined a woman and jazz cooked to the crisp.
※注 toast to～で○○に乾杯。「ジャズと女性に乾杯」と言う意味です。
歌唱力、豊かな表情、スウィング感といい、
柔らかな雰囲気と、あどけない笑顔に引き込まれ
As she sang on stage, I was drawn
by her rich expression, swing, soft aura, and innocent smile
気がづくといつのまにか彼女の事を好きになっている。
and I found out I had already fallen for her.
”Feel like making love” そんな魅力的なステージだったな。
The concert itself was spellbinding
「自分らしさが魅力をつくる」
To be charming is to simply be yourself.
そんな風に思われる人になりたいよね。
I want people to like me the way I fell for her.
