「昨日、このビルの前で人が撃たれたの知ってる？」
“Do you know that someone was shooted in front of my apertment?”
朝のレッスンで、そんな衝撃的なニュースを耳にした。
I heard an alarming news in the morning during my class.
学校のビルを出て一つ隣のビルの角で事件は起こったらしく、
何人かの人間は１５階で銃声を聞いたと言う。
The incident happened at the corner one building away from my apartment.
Some pepople from 15th floor of this building heard a gun shoot.
しかも時間は推定１４：００頃。いつそこにいてもおかしくなかった。
The estimated time of incident 2PM. Fortunately, I was not able to witness the it because I usually go to that place.
被害者はフィリピンの政治家らしく、頭を撃たれて即死。
The victim was know as a Filipino politician.
死体が横たわっているのを何人かが目撃した。
He was found dead after he was shut in head and chest which makes him dead on the spot.
過激派勢力なのかしらないが、政治絡みの殺人事件が多いらしい。
Maybe, most of the reason of murder case in the Philippines is about political issues.
ここオルティガスは治安のいい場所と言われている。
I heard that Ortigas is one of the most safe place in this country.
しかし、マニラ自体は銃を保持している人間がたくさんいる。
But many Many people in Manila has their own gun.
タクシーに乗っていても、「鍵閉めてください」と必ず言われる。
“Please lock the door” when you ride the Taxi.
信号待ちをしてる時に、突然、ドアを開けて入ってくるらしい。
Because suddenly someone will open the door and steal your belongings when the taxi stopped.
暗闇ではナイフや銃を突きつける「ホールドアップ」という犯罪が多発。
One of the famous crime is showing a gun or knife to
scare people and force to get their things or they called it “holdap”
っていうか、そんなところで、
Fortunately, I came back home but I can’t remember how.
よくも記憶飛ばして無事に家に帰ってこれたな。

まあ、死ぬ時はその辺歩いてても死ぬし、
If it’s not your time to die even the crashed of an airplane will happen you will still survive.
死なない時は飛行機が落ちてもしなないでしょう。
Unlike if you were missed fortunate , simply walking on a street can cause you to death.
注意はする。努力もする。それ以上はどうしょうもないでしょ。
Even I showed an effort of taking care of my life I can’t still do anything if it’s really my time to die.
と、深く考えず、サラッと忘れる事にした。
So, I don’t mind thinking of this issue.
これだけの事件でもあまり気にしてない
フィリピンの楽観的な国民性はすごいとおもう。(俺もか)
I think Filipinos are very optimistic people where in they don’t mind about serious problems including me.
世界が平和でありますように。。。
I hoping for a peaceful life in the world.
