３月２０日～３月２１日 Day 22 in the Philippines
「じゃあ、愛の勉強しにいこっか？」
“Let’s go and learn to love”
あれ？なんでこの話になったんだっけ？？あ、そうそう、思い出した。たかし君が
「人の事を本気で好きになった事がない」って飲み会の時に言ったんだ。
Why would we need to do that? I remembered that Takashi had previously said in a drinking session,
that he had never really loved a woman as much as he’d like to.
そんな彼は教師になりたい人。愛を知らなきゃまずいジャンって事で
His dream is to be a teacher. I said “If that’s the case you should know houw to love”
マニラにあるマザーテレサの家にボランティアに行こうと思ったんだけど、タイミングが合わず
We we’re suppoosed to go to the Mother Teresa’s House,but due to scheduling problems,
けんご君の紹介で貧困地区で行われる、韓国系NGOのフィーディングに参加する事になったんだ。
we ended up going with a Korean NGO, that Kengo introduced us to, to a feeding program in Pyatas.
スラム地区にある教会で、子供達の食事の世話をするのが今回のミッション。
Our mission was to do join in a feeding program at the church in the slum area.

子供も大人もみんなキラキラしてた。みんな最高の笑顔だった。
Evryone was smiling brightly with a twinkle in their eye.
ファインダー覗くと、本来人間が持つ「心の美しさ」にフォーカスできて、とても幸せな気分になれた。
Through this, I was able to focus on the innate goodness that I belive is in evryone
ボランティアもした事もなく、中学時代は悪かったと言う彼。
Takashi told me once that as a young student he never did any volunteering.
終始いい笑顔してたよ。きっといい教師になると思う。
But seeing this smile, I think he will make a good teacher someday.
子供なんだけど、どんな大人になるかって今のうちからわかるもんだよね。
Seeing how these chilren are now, I can already imagine what they will grow up to be.

What was it?
昔はボランティアって何か「してあげる」ところだと思ってた。とんでもない。
Before, I thought that volunteering is about us giving to the less fortunate,
たっぷり癒してもらってるのはこちらのほう。人間に生まれてよかったなって心から思うよ。
but now I think it’s aloso about them healing me.I am happy that I was created a human,
so I am able to feel and know all of this.
「愛ってなんですか？」
” What is Love?”
どんな小さな事でもいい。目の前にいる人に
何かしたい気持ちを行動にして差し出してみる。
The most important thing is to act on your feelings,
even simple gestures are enough.
するとね、何かしら心に変化が起こる。何かを感じる。
This action will change something in you.
「何かが」 もともと、自分の中にあった事に気付くんだ。
You will realize that what you sought was already inside you all along.
多くの人はそれを探そうしたり、もらおうとしたりする。
Many people seek and want this, but it can’t be found anywhere.
でもね、どこかにあるものではなく、誰でも自分の中に持ってるもの。
だってね、人間ってね、愛と光でできてるんだよ。
It is in everyone, Because pepole are created from love and light.
だからそれが何かを知りたい人は、まず、「自分から」あげるべき。
If you want to know about it, you need only to give it first, then you will know.
考える前にあげればわかる。あげ続ければわかる。それが何なのかを？
Give before thinking and keep giving continuously, then you will understand.
なぜならば、宇宙のルールはあげたものは何であれ必ず返ってくるから。
Because the universal rule is, what you give is equal to what you take.
All you need is Love
